COVID-19 – RESOURCES AND GUIDANCE
All BAFA clubs and members in England can now return to activity as detailed below. Clubs and members in Wales are allowed to undertake activity for U18s, and BAFA clubs and members in Scotland are allowed to undertake limited activity as detailed below.
All clubs and teams returning to practice must appoint a Club Covid-19 Officer who completes the required training for their nation, upload a risk assessment to the BAFA membership system and follow BAFA’s Return to Play guidance.
Please be aware that localised restrictions may be introduced at short notice. Where an area or region is subject to localised restrictions, guidance in this information hub may not apply. Please regularly check for any local restrictions in England, Scotland and Wales that may impact on your ability to hold practices or host or travel for friendly non-contact games with other nearby teams, where applicable.
COVID-19 – National Tools and Resources
Organised American football activity is currently permitted at Stage 4 for flag teams and Stage 5 for contact teams.
Limited, socially distanced American football activity is currently permitted for particpants aged 18+, and non-contact group activity is permitted for under 18s at BAFA Stage 4 as detailed below.
Organised American football activity is currently permitted for U18s at Stage 4 for flag teams and Stage 5 for contact teams. Organised adult American football activity is not currently permitted.
