Outlined below are the fees which are due for individuals and teams for each of the respective competition streams for the 2024-2025 period.
All player fees are per competition and memberships and insurance coverage for National Leagues Football team and player types listed below are for an annual, rather than rolling, membership year.
Memberships currently expire annually on 31 October, and new ones for the playing season ahead are available to purchase from 1 October onwards for all formats except Women’s Flag Football which runs 1 July – 30 June. All coaching fees are also annual, expiring on 31 October, and new coaching memberships for the season ahead are also available to purchase from 1 October onwards too.

Other contact fees and upgrades
Non-coaching staff (physio, gameday manager, committee member, stats, photographer, videographer etc) – £7.50
Upgrade fee – U19 Contact to Adult Contact or Women’s Contact – £37.50
Upgrade fee – U16 Contact to U19 Contact – Free
Upgrade fee – Adult contact to women’s contact or vice versa – £5
Upgrade fee – Adult / women’s contact player to Player / Coach Contact – £22.50
Upgrade fee – Coach Contact to Player/Coach Contact – £12.50
Event fee – membership for one off BAFA sanctioned events, such as alumni or charity games – £12.50 for contact
Admin fee – discretionary fee for bulk work requests, ie team mergers, A to B roster changes – £15
Please note – you can only upgrade within contact formats, and only upgrade between memberships valid for the same playing periods.

Student football
BAFA and BUCS annually agree to a university player membership fee, designed to bring direct financial contribution to the development of the university game. This is set out in the BUCS Sport Specific Affiliations appendix.
