Updated Return to Play guidance for adults in Scotland now available
I’m very pleased to confirm that our updated guidance for adults in Scotland has now been approved by sportscotland.
This takes account of the move to Protection Level 2 for the majority of mainland Scotland and allows adult flag and contact teams to resume practice with a ‘field of activity bubble’ and adult contact teams to start working through our steps of modified contact.
Additional guidance for game management will be shared ahead of both formats resuming league competition over the summer.
Please make sure you review the updated guidance for Stage 4 flag football in Scotland and Stage 5 modified contact football before returning to activity as well as our Protection Levels activity guide. Please also make sure you have a nominated Club Covid-19 officer and a risk assessment in place.
We are continuing to keep a watchful eye over the recent spikes in case numbers in various council areas in Scotland and will update our recent Q&A for Scottish teams should any restrictions change.
In the meantime, I wish our adult teams in Scotland a safe and enjoyable return to practice this weekend.
