The Great Britain under 19s team are holding open trials to unearth the next crop of Britball players to represent the national team at youth level.

Trials will be taking place in Leeds on 24th September and London a week later (1st October).

Team GB is looking to maintain momentum after posting performances that exceeded all expectations at the European Championships in Italy under the stewardship of head coach Scott Rowe this summer.

“Our performances in Bologna showed that, if invested in, the future of the U19 program, could be very, very bright indeed,” he explained.

“Due to the very nature of Junior football, it’s vital that we ‘reload’ at suitable moments. We are committed to trying to get the very best of the fantastic talent we have across the country into the GB program so we can build on the great work started this past year. I am buzzing to see what the UK has to offer!”

The call goes out to male players in birth years 2004, 2005 and 2006. Anyone interested in being considered can access full details of dates and times at the link below.
