The best under-17 Britball talent will be showcased at SGS Bristol on Saturday as Great Britain White takes on Blue at 1pm

The game brings to a close the first phase of U17 player development in the 2024 National Programme as players return to club commitments over the next five months before a series of international fixtures later in the year.

Head Coach Michael Davies (pictured, centre) said: “The game this weekend will be a really good opportunity to benchmark ourselves against previous years. We have over 60 new players to the team this year that are added to the returners, some of which are now in their third year as part of the programme. For pretty much all of those new players, this will be their first experience playing a full 11v11 game – it is the culmination of the last 3 months of hard work to get them to this level, and I am very excited.

“I hope that the time spent in the Great Britain program in the first part of the year will have helped develop these young athletes and prepare them for club level football, and in turn, the experience that they will have throughout the summer will benefit them when they come back to us later in the year.”

The game is free to attend – seating is limited however spectators will also have the opportunity to watch from ground level. The venue address is SGS College WISE Campus, New Rd, Stoke Gifford, Bristol BS34 8LP.
