We are pleased to confirm the venues for this year’s Flag and Contact Finals. The events will take place throughout August and September at locations across Manchester, Loughborough and Coventry, with Great Britain U19 hosting France as curtain raiser to a jam-packed Britbowl weekend on Friday 15 September.

Finals’ season kicks off on Saturday 5 August at Loughborough University with U16 Contact National and Plate Finals. The following weekend the venue hosts the U19 D2 Final and NWFL Regional Final (12 August), and then the U19 D1 Final on 27 August.

The weekend of 9-10 September will see the NFFL and Youth Flag Finals at Platt Lane, Manchester and the season’s finale – Britbowl weekend will take place on 16-17 September at Coventry Butts Arena.

Joe Walker, Contact Football Delivery and Development Manager said: “We are delighted to confirm that this year’s Britbowl weekend will feature the NWFL National League Final for the first time, which will be the headline event on the Saturday following the D2 Final. The Britbowl Premiership Final will be the headline game on Sunday, following the D1 Final.

“We appreciate your patience as we finalised the venues for this year’s Contact Finals, making sure feedback from last year has been taken into account. As a result, we have made efforts to secure high-quality facilities in more central locations for this year’s events. For our smaller-sided contact formats, we have secured all artificial surfaces, which will be lined.”

For flag football, following regional NFFL playoffs on the weekend of 2-3 September, finals weekend on 9-10 September will once again see both NFFL and Youth Flag finals share the limelight at Platt Lane in Manchester. Information on the location for the WFFL finals will be shared with teams over the coming months.

Flag and small-sided Finals are free entry for spectators. Look out for more information on timings and ticketing information for Britbowl weekend over the coming weeks.
