We’re saddened to learn about the passing of Angelie Dela Cruz.
Representing the Iceni Spears in both flag and contact, Angelie also represented the game at GB level.
We are sending our thoughts and prayers to her teammates, her friends and her family during this time.
Her passing is another sad loss of a player in our sport.
”Small in stature but huge in personality and drive, she represented everything that is great about our game. Committed, passionate but never losing sight of the fact that it should be fun, its fair to say that for the first couple of years Angelie was the face ( and voice ) of Iceni.
