The #ManeMen take on the much-vaunted French at the Butts Park Arena in Coventry on Saturday 5th August, kick off 2pm. With tickets now on sale, Scott is urging lovers of American Football and elite sport to turn out in numbers to roar on the Lions.

“We are all so excited to be hosting a Great Britain Mens’ game in the UK again and look forward to welcoming the French. This contest represents a huge test for us – for years France has been regarded as a ‘blue blood’ of the European game. This will be a benchmark to see how far we have come,” he said.

Scott selected a squad selected which is young and hungry – but also well equipped to withstand the rigours of high-level European competition, he believes: “The squad is a reflection of how well American Football is developing in the UK. The Lions have not rested on their laurels since playing against the European Champions in Milan last year. We are focused, driven and motivated to compete on this stage, and put on a great show for everyone coming to watch.

“I firmly believe that this is the best American Football that anyone will see in the UK – outside of the International Series games. The best European talent is on your doorstep. Whether you’re a Britball fan, a fan of American Football, or just love watching elite sport, this game is a must attend event!”

Tickets are £10 for general admission, £2 for under 16s, with a concessionary £8 entry for anyone who is part of GB National Program in 2023 – across Women’s, Flag or youth.
