British American Football Governing Body Endorsement Criteria
The British American Football Association (BAFA) issues governing body endorsements to migrant coaches in line with its Governing Body Endorsement Policy (see below). This policy sets out the endorsement criteria and application process, which have been agreed with the Home Office.
Each application will be assessed against the published criteria based on the information provided to BAFA at the time of submission. Please note that any information provided will be processed in accordance with BAFA’s privacy policy and may be shared with the Home Office if they review BAFA’s processes and procedures.
The BAFA Governing Body Endorsement Policy applies to all endorsement requests made on or after 9 September 2025. The requirements will be reviewed annually.
