The British American Football Association has been shortlisted at the 2026 Sports Business Awards for Sports Governing Body Initiative of the Year.
Launched in 2017, the Sports Business Awards celebrate the very best in the sports business and attracts over 500 attendees to the ceremony each year.
The event recognises the organisations, teams and individuals who excel in their roles, and is supported by the Telegraph who will be writing features about the finalists and the winners before and after the event.
The British American Football Association has been nominated for Sports Governing Body Initiative of the Year. This award recognises governing bodies that have delivered impactful initiatives with measurable success and may include fan engagement, participation growth, or sport promotion.
Gold, silver and bronze awards will be presented in each category. BAFA has been shortlisted in its award category alongside the likes of the FA, Badminton England and the UCI.
Award winners will be announced at the award ceremony on Friday 27 November at Old Billingsgate in London.
