In line with Article 35 of the BAFA Articles of Association, notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the British American Football Association (BAFA) will take place in person at 1.00pm on Saturday 11th July 2026 at the University of Nottingham.
The AGM will be followed by a General Session Q&A at 2.00pm.
Last year, we received positive feedback hosting the AGM as part of the annual Coaching Convention and we are pleased to do the same this year.
The agenda and document pack will be circulated on 26th June to attendees registered by 25th June.
Attendance
Each registered BAFA National Leagues Club can send one representative to the formal AGM. There are no limits on Club representatives for the General Session Q&A at 2.00pm.
Voting
The following are eligible to vote on the AGM motions:
- BAFA Board Members;
- Registered BAFA National Leagues Clubs (one vote per club);
- British American Football Referees Association (one vote); and
- British Universities and Colleges Sport “BUCS” (one vote).
Please note, University American Football Clubs are not eligible to vote at the AGM as their vote is represented by BUCS.
Registration
Please register your interest to attend via the JustGo link below by 1.00pm on 25th June.
As part of the process, you will be asked to confirm if you are the club’s voting representative.
Proxies
The AGM attendance is face-to-face only. Clubs who are unable to attend may nominate a proxy to vote on their behalf – for example, someone already attending from another club.
You must inform us in advance who your proposed proxy will be by completing and returning the proxy form and returning it to registrations@britishamericanfootball.org by 1.00pm on 25th June.
Questions
There will be a General Session Q&A at 2.00pm after the AGM and we aim to cover as many topics as possible. If there’s something important you’d like to ask or raise, submitting it in advance will help ensure it’s included in the discussion.
Please send your questions to registrations@britishamericanfootball.org by 1.00pm on 3rd July.
