BAFA’s performance programme head to Tampa, Florida this week, with multiple Women’s teams competing across several formats in the USA Flag World Championship.

After securing their second consecutive European title at EuroFlag 2025 in Paris last year, players and staff from the Perfomance Programme return to competition in January as they take on teams from across the world at the USA Football World Championship.

The competition, billed as the biggest flag football tournament in the US, will see more than 1000 teams facing off in the Sunshine State across more than 10 formats.

Players and coaches from the Performance programme will compete as “The Pride” in the Olympic Style, U23, Air it Out, and Non Contact formats from Thursday to Saturday, with their opponents including teams from the US, Canada, Mexico and the Cayman Islands.

During their trip, the national programme will also take the opportunity to train with Warner University, whose flag football team compete in the Sun Conference in the NAIA.
