The British American Football Association is excited to confirm the return of the U19 Regional Series for 2025, with all five franchises returning to 11-a-side action.

The five franchises from 2024 all return, with Team Scotland, Team North, the Midlands Mighty Oaks, SGS Pride and the Southern Kings facing-off.
Following four camp dates in September, the competition will kick-off in October.
Full schedule:

Week One – 4/5 October 2025
SGS Pride vs. Southern Kings
Team Scotland vs. Team Midlands
Week Two – 18 October 2025
Team North vs. Team Scotland
Week Three – 25 October 2025
Southern Kings vs. Team North
Midlands Mighty Oaks vs. SGS Pride
Sam Stoddart-Durning, U19 Development Lead shared his excitement at the return of the series, highlighting the collaborative work of the franchises.
”The inaugural year of Regional Football was a fantastic success in developing our young athletes,” he commented.
“I’m really excited to see it returning for 2025 and seeing how it will grow this year.
“As always, I want to extend a huge thank you and note of appreciation to the regional teams for their hard work, buy in and passion for the project.
“It’s amazing to see the collaboration between all the clubs and look forward to seeing it continue this year!”
As with last year’s competition, U19 players from National Contact Leagues and BUCS are eligible to play for their Regional franchise. Franchises have been communicated their relevant eligible teams.
The following amendments have been made to eligibility:
  • Edge Hill Vikings (BUCS) moved from Team Midlands to Team North
  • Salford Storm (BUCS) added to Team North alignment.
  • Shropshire Revolution U19 (BAFA) aligned to Midlands Mighty Oaks.
  • Somerset Wyverns U16 (BAFA) aligned to Southern Kings.
  • Lincolnshire Bombers aligned to Midlands Mighty Oaks per club request.
