The Great Britain U17 Contact programme have confirmed their roster for Sunday’s exhibition game against the US-based EXACT International All American programme.
The Lions will host joint practice and team-building activity at the University of Derby this weekend, culminating in an exhibition game at 13:00 on the Sunday with entry free to the public.
Speaking on squad selection ahead of the game, U17 Head Coach Michael Davies noted the strong representation from across Great Britain’s home nations in the roster.
“One of the things that always amazes me is the diversity of the team,” Davies commented.
“We have 21 different clubs represented, from all over England, Scotland, and Wales. It’s brilliant to see how the National Programme can bring people together from across the community!
“It’s going to be a great weekend, building ties with players from across the pond, and getting to play some high quality football.”
