David Goodridge appointed as a Non-Executive Director.
The British American Football Association (BAFA) is pleased to announce that David Goodridge has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director on the BAFA Board and Chair of the Audit Committee.
David has over 30 years experience as an executive leader working in financial services with a focus on payments and multiple touchpoints to elite sport.
His achievements include project managing the sponsorship launch of the Nationwide Football League, delivering Visa’s vision of London 2012 being the first cashless Olympic Games and with Mastercard, transforming sports venues across Europe into contactless stadiums.
He is currently Non-Executive Director for Finance & Governance and Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee for the British Bobsleigh & Skeleton Association. There he has oversight of investment from UK Sport for the National Governing Body for their Olympics World Class Programmes. He is also a Member of the Sports Governance Academy, Associate Member of the Non-Executive Directors Association and a lifelong fan of American Football.
