Dean Whittingslow, the head coach of the Women’s GB Flag team, is stepping down after a distinguished tenure at the helm.

Under his leadership, the team achieved a historic victory at the 2023 European Championship in Ireland. Earlier this year, Dean guided the team to a seventh-place finish at the Flag World Championships in Finland, securing a spot for the 2025 World Games in Chengdu, China, set to take place next August.Dean’s commitment and vision have been instrumental in the team’s growth, laying a solid foundation as they set their sights on qualification for the Los Angeles Olympic Games in 2028, where Flag Football will make its debut.
BAFA CEO Chad Ehlertsen praised Dean’s contributions, saying, “Dean’s skill, enthusiasm, and passion have been key drivers in the positive direction the GB Women’s Flag team is now headed.”
