The National Flag Football League will run on the following dates for 2025 and this year it will be run and managed by the Flag Football Competition Management Group (CMG) led by Alan Young, Neil Henderson and Paul Labbett.

Game Weekends for 2025:
  • Week 1: 15th/ 16th March (Division 1 only)
  • Week 2: 12th/13th April
  • Week 3: 10th/11th May
  • Week 4: 24th/25th May
  • Week 5: 14th/15th June
  • Week 6: 28th/29th June
  • Week 7: 26th/27th July
  • Finals Weekend: September – to be confirmed

Registration Deadlines

Team registration: must be completed by Sunday 15 December 2024, team entry is free. New teams or expansion teams must email flagoperations@britishamericanfootball.org for advise on requirements. Apologies if you have already done this, but the account is now monitored and you will receive support.

Player registrations: Each registered team must have a minimum number of 8 players registered by Friday 31 January 2025. Player entry will be £32 (in addition to the BAFA Associate Membership fee of £18). Players must have both to be able to be added to their teams. Players who wish to train only and not partake in the NFFL only need the BAFA Adult Associate Membership fee. WFFL Players who have already paid the BAFA Adult Associate Membership fee do not have to pay this again.

Overall competition rules are being reviewed and the fully amended document will be issued to teams upon their completion. This will be before commencement of the league programme. Teams will be required to have qualified officials (2 x level 1 and 2 x level 2). The refereeing course will be re-opened shortly and we will be in touch with more details regarding this.
