The Great Britain U17 Contact national programme has confirmed its travelling roster ahead of a friendly against Spain this month.
The Lions travel to Calatayud, just outside Zaragoza, Spain for the international friendly on Sunday 17 November, with kick-off at 11:00 GMT.
Speaking on the confirmation of the squad, programme head coach Michael Davies commented on the variety of British clubs represented in the roster.
“The diversity in this team is brilliant,” he said.
“With 22 different clubs being represented, from England, Wales, and Scotland – it’s something the clubs and players should all be proud of.
“The U17 program is going from strength to strength, each year working with a larger pool of development squad players to select the strongest traveling team possible.
“In recent years, Great Britain have faced of against team Spain twice; the Women’s team narrowly losing earlier this year, and the U19 program being victorious back in 2022. This U17 match up will be the decider, and will show just strong the future of the sport is, in both nations.”
