The Great Britain U17 Contact national programme have recently debuted their new training uniforms, supported by sponsor Herongrange Group.
Commenting on the new kit and the programme’s partnership with Herongrange, head coach Mike Davies expressed his excitement and gratitude for the support of the U17 lions.
He said: “Sponsorship like this means the absolute world to the players and staff involved with the programme.
“It’s way more than just a training jersey, it’s part of our identity. We step out on to that field with a confidence and swagger worthy of a national programme, and we can’t thank the team at Herongrange enough for giving us the opportunity to do so.
“The team is currently funded by the players and coaches, if it wasn’t for sponsorship like this, the cost of representing your country at the top level, for this age group, could be a barrier to entry for some athletes.”
Earlier this month, the U17 Lions confirmed an international fixture against Spain to be played on Sunday 17 November in Calatayud, Zaragoza.
