The Great Britain Women’s national team have announced their travelling squad for May’s IFAF Women’s European Championship fixture against Germany.
After securing a 40-0 home win against Sweden in April, the Lions travel to Solingen on 28 May for their second European championship matchup in 2023.
Great Britain’s last fixture against Germany came at the 2015 IFAF Women’s European Championship in Spain, with their Group B game ending in a 17-6 victory for the Lions, who went on to win silver after falling to Finland in the final.
Now in 2023, after ten players kitted up for their international debuts in front of more than 800 supporters at Sixways Stadium, three new international rookies will join the squad making the trip to Germany this month.
