After listening to feedback from clubs, BAFA have introduced an extended trial membership category for adult contact and NWFL teams. This is now live on the BAFA JustGo registration system and costs £10.
This new membership type is designed to allow new players, returning players, BUCS players and those moving up from U19 to have an extended and insured trial period with a team if they are unsure about committing to take part at that level, or at all.
As the trial membership is valid during pre-season only, it will automatically expire on 31 March 2023. To participate in games and appear on the team roster individuals can purchase a full adult contact or NWFL membership at any point. Members who go on to purchase a full adult contact or NFL membership in addition may request a refund of the £10 trial membership fee.
Please note, this new membership category covers participation in practice only. Individuals registered are not insured to participate in games, including pre-season friendlies, and will not appear on game rosters or count towards minimum registered numbers or health checks.
