BAFA are once more working with Sport Structures and other partners to bring you a series of free training sessions designed to help you develop your skills and your club. Workshops are online, typically last two hours and are open to club management and coaches across BAFA.

Monday 12 December, 7.30-9.30pm – Financial stability
Managing the day-to-day finances of your club can seem a daunting or tedious task, this workshop will support you to identify financial objectives that will help your club become more financially sustainable and resilient.
Monday 16 January, 7.30-9.30pm – A club for everyone
This workshop considers how clubs can create long term and sustainable change to ensure sport is accessible to all.
Tue 24 January, 7.30-9.30pm – Building positive parent relationships for coaches
When it comes to sport parents can either be your biggest ally or greatest obstacle. They have the ultimate influence over their children and its important to find ways as coaches to channel this in the most positive way for the child playing sport. This session gives you some helpful tips and strategies that you can use on a regular basis to ensure your relationship with parents is a winning one.
Monday 13 February, 7.30-9.30pm – Participant experience
With so much competition for people’s time, how do you ensure your club is chosen over other opportunities? By understanding what existing and potential members want from your club, you can deliver a great experience for them.
Monday 13 March, 7.30-9.30pm – Developing a marketing strategy
There are now more ways of marketing your club than ever before. This workshop will guide you through the marketing minefield and help you attract new members, raise funds or enhance your club’s profile.
