BAFA are excited to announce the appointment of Lynsey Llewellyn to the position of Super Elevens Competition Manager.
In last month’s update to NWFL clubs regarding Women’s football strategy, Strategic Lead Arran Harrison emphasised the importance of reintroducing 11-a-side competition to the Women’s football calendar in the form of Super Elevens.
As Competition Manager, Llewellyn will coordinate the development and implementation of Super Elevens within the Women’s football competition structure.
”"I am extremely pleased that Lynsey has come on board to support the drive and development of Women’s football. As mentioned previously, we have a responsibility to create a legacy off the back of the National Programme’s success by creating more opportunity to access Women’s 11-a-side football domestically. Lynsey has the drive and determination that will serve Women’s football well to help us deliver this strategy and will be a valuable addition to the team."

With extensive knowledge and experience of Women’s football in the UK, Llewellyn is looking to draw on her time as a player, coach and general manager in order to further drive the development of the sport.
”"I am excited to be involved in this wave of change that is currently happening in Women's football. My drive and passion is to ensure the legacy of achievements of the Women's GB programme continues, and that starts in the grassroots and development of our players. This role, along with the introduction of Super 11s, will play a part in ensuring success across all levels of Women's American football for our female athletes of today and tomorrow."
