After an exciting day of Youth Flag Football at the 2021 National Finals, the South Coast Spitfires’ U14 and U17 were both victorious in their respective tournaments.

In the U14s Final, the Spitfires came up against the reigning champions – the Leicester Huntsmen from the Midlands division. South Coast put up a dominant performance, winning the match quite comfortably 44-20.

Meanwhile the U17 Spitfires came up against another Midlands division opponent in their final in the form of the Coventry Cougars. This one was a much closer affair with Coventry being unable to score what would have been the game-winning touchdown from inside the No Run Zone. The score finished 20-18 to South Coast Spitfires.

Along with being crowned National Champions, there was also the additional prize of winning tickets to the NFL London games courtesy of NFL UK.
