The National Women’s Football League has teamed up with the NFL to celebrate International Women’s Day 2021 and share the stories of four key workers from around the league.
This year’s theme is ‘#ChooseToChallenge’, with a focus on how the world has adapted to the many obstacles it’s faced this year – none more so than the Coronavirus pandemic.
The four women featured in the campaign embody this year’s theme through their crucial work on the frontline, in healthcare and education. The NWFL and BAFA as a whole are immensely proud to recognise them within the British American football community.
The campaign sees Angie (Wembley Stallions), Hattie (London Warriors, GB Women), Jakki (Teeside Steelers) and Marion (Leeds Chargers Women) share their passion for American football and discuss the obstacles this past year has brought.
OUR 🇬🇧 HEROES.
